The Fiennes Group is headed by group Chief Executive Ben Edwards supported by the central group resource and a senior management team in each division, each a specialist in their own field. Together, we aim to provide our customers with the highest level of service and expertise.
Group Chief Executive
Ben is an experienced multi-discipline engineer, specialising in precision engineering. He has over 25 years of sector experience including senior management roles and now leads the Group as Chief Executive. His twin passions for motorsport as a licensed competitor and as a classic car collector from pre-war to modern combine perfectly with his experience and detailed knowledge of all Group divisions.
Dave has more than 3 decades of experience in the classic car and parts manufacturing sector. His career began as a Ford apprentice moving to vehicle body repairs, then to work on the RV8 program at British Motor Heritage. He worked his way through BMH to become Operations Manager. Dave has been with Fiennes for over 2 years, bringing with him his wealth of classic car knowledge. Now taking the role as Commercial Director for Fiennes Showroom.
Group Marketing Director
David has an extensive background in retail buying and marketing including heading up marketing teams in major names such as Homebase and B&Q. He recently spent 9 years as Commercial Director for a leading buying group and has mixed in house roles with a portfolio career as a high level interim manager now leading the branding and marketing transition of the Fiennes Group.
Hannah has been with Fiennes for over 4 years, with experience that covers many areas of the Fiennes operation including event co-ordination, project management, customer liaison, engineering and all areas of restoration. Prior to joining Fiennes, Hannah spent 7 years in the education sector as well as several years in retail. She is now one of the main coordinators in our Marketing Team.
Will founded Fiennes Engineering back in 1976 when he combined his experience as a nuclear physicist, tribologist and a passion for Rolls-Royce and Bentley motorcars. With a wealth of specialist knowledge and expertise built over many decades, Will is a fount of all knowledge for Fiennes. As technical director for Fiennes Classics, he continues to pass on this wisdom and expertise to all.
Paul has been with Fiennes for over 10 years, working first in our mechanical restoration and now alongside Will as Technical Liaison. Paul’s career began as an apprentice mechanic where he gained experience in a vast number of different models, after which he then moved into performance engines. His knowledge in mechanical engineering is exceptional, from pre-war to modern classics.
Matt has been with Fiennes for nearly 2 years as the latest development in a career that is rich with general and performance engine reconditioning experience. Following college qualifications he began as a welder fabricator and went on to continue in various engineering sector roles for 16 years with the last 6 of those at F J Paynes in the specialist skills of white metalling and line boring. Matt now uses this experience at Fiennes Performance as Lead Engineer.
Ross joined the Fiennes Group in September 2020 and is the General Manager for both Fiennes Engineering and Fiennes Performance. His experience ranges from technician to management roles in many sectors including motorsport, insurance, disability vehicles and hydraulic leveling systems. His passion and understanding of the motor industry is invaluable to the Fiennes Group.
Frank is a renowned expert with extensive knowledge gained over 5 decades in the automotive engineering industry. Starting with JH Richards in 1971 as an apprentice, followed by Coventry Boring and Metalling a subsidiary J H Richards. Frank has exceptional knowledge of all aspects of the internal combustion engine and related engineering. As Technical Director for Fiennes Engineering, he remains extremely passionate about the industry enjoying a hands-on and technical role.
Ian’s experience in manufacturing and engineering spans over 43 years, of which 31 of those years have been with Fiennes. Beginning his engineering career as a toolmaker apprentice, Ian also has experience in aircraft and oil field equipment manufacture. His expertise and knowledge as Workshop Manager for Fiennes Engineering is exceptional – for Ian, there is no problem without a solution.
Lucy has seen Fiennes Classics develop since the early days and first beginnings as Fiennes Engineering at Clanfield Mill. Having been with the company for over 15 years, she has vast experience in all areas of the business and is now the main coordinator for parts supply and mail order.
Paul has been with Fiennes since 2014 with a breadth of automotive industry knowledge gained over 4 decades. He has worked mainly within the parts sector including experience in Ford, Nissan, Volvo and Jaguar plus in the accident repair sector and also at the Honda UK engine manufacturing plant . As Stores Manager for Fiennes, the broad and detailed experience that he brings to our Fiennes Parts department helps to ensure that we provide the best possible service to our customers.
